Dr. Jeannine M. Stein
Award - both the highest singular awards for student excellence. From there, Dr. Stein continued her training with an internship in general surgery followed by a five year residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During her residency, she was given the exceptional opportunity to participate in the first laryngeal transplant surgery. Toward the end of her residency she completed specialized training in dermatologic surgery and then a formal eighteen month fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the highest level of training a Mohs surgeon can receive. With her advanced training in the surgical techniques of both Otolaryngology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, her practice is centered on the treatment of skin cancers and makes her qualified to treat difficult lesions.
Dr. Stein currently lives in Melbourne, FL where she enjoys exercise, church activities, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes. GO BUCKS!
Dr. Stein is a board-certified Otolaryingologist and one of only a handful of physicians in the U.S. with her degree of training. She attended and graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University. During this time she was named a scholar-athlete and awarded multiple scholarships. She then continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine where she earned many other awards along with being granted membership into the medical student honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
